Diamond served as one of the official mascots for the Toronto Blue Jays from 2000 to 2003. She, along with her male counterpart, "Ace", replaced former mascot BJ Birdy before the 2002 season as a mascot duo. Like her predecessor, Diamond resembled a large blue jay, with large eye lashes to give her a more feminine appearance.
Ultimately, Diamond never gained enough appeal with fans to last, and was removed by the Blue Jays prior to the start of the 2004 season.
