Jünter is the mascot of German association football club Borussia Mönchengladbach, who play in the Bundesliga.
Making his début in 1998, he is a black horse, representing the club nickname "The Foals", after the club's energetic playing style in the 1970's.
He has a white mane and invariably wears a striped scarf tied around his neck. He also carries a flag with him.
He is named after legendary midfielder Günter Netzer, who scored 108 goals in 297 appearances for the club. "Jünter" is the local dialect pronunciation for the name.
