Rufus D. Lynx is the mascot of the National Basketball Association's Charlotte Bobcats. Rufus was the mascot for the Bobcats from 2004–2014, before being replaced by Hugo when the team re-branded to their original name, the Charlotte Hornets. However, he did make his triumphant return in 2019 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Charlotte Hornets.[1]
